Adding statuary in a landscape is adding life. Although statues are literally non-living, for unknown reason, they can magically add life to a boring garden or a barren landscape. Put a full-size statue in an untamed garden. Suddenly, it becomes the focal point.
Beautiful but Durable
The magical effect of statuary may be attributed to the life that is often depicted in the art. Most of the statues are people, animals, and plants. There are also other forms but all of them have that mysterious effect that makes them amazingly and mystically beautiful.
But don't lay your eyes on beauty alone. Statuaries need to be durable also. Otherwise, cracking might appear soon. Statues are classics so they have to last long. The older they become, the more beautiful they are to look at.
Luckily, both beauty and durability are in our every statuary. Briggs Contracting, Inc. has been supplying the entire Michigan and nearby states with the most stunning statues for landscapes, gardens, as well as indoor living spaces. Check out our photos in the Statuary section and be amazed of the different statue designs.
Monotone or Colorful
Our statuaries are bland. But that bland color is intended to let you decide on the color. Statuary can enjoy a more classical look if painted in ivory, white, gold, or any earthen colors. Monotone colors are more elegant to look at, too.
Meanwhile, colorful statuaries blend well with a colorful garden. But to make a colorful statue stand out, it must be placed in a monotone garden. The color choice is yours so decide based on what seems fit to your taste. The color can always be changed, anyway.
Perfect Spots for Statuaries
Besides beauty, durability, and color, statuaries will stand out if placed in the perfect spot. The first rule is to place the statue in the spot that matches it. For example, a frog statue may seem unfit in the wood-filled patio but it will look perfect near a small backyard waterfall. An angel may seem okay near the front door. But it will look more stunning near the flowering plants.
Statuaries are also perfect for making scenes. Think about what a frog, a pineapple, a leaning child, an angel, or a fairy will do in the garden. The frog will definitely stay near the pond while the pineapple will be there near the fruit plants. The leaning child will be perfect near a flowery shrub and the angel is lovelier when guarding a fountain. A fairy will look more stunning near the flowering vines.
Simply use your imagination when making a scene. The way that the statuaries were placed will be very suggestive. Many of our statuaries can also be used for other purpose besides display. Some can be elegant plant boxes while others can be integrated to a fountain and other water features.
Our company can provide more than just statuaries. We offer all products that are necessary for creating a dream-come-true garden or landscape. Please feel free to check our other products. Maybe you need more materials to liven up an outdoor. But statuary will certainly be among these mysteriously beautiful elements.
